Happy birthday to me

Awsome day. 

 

It was my birthday yesterday, and it was great.  

I was a bit sad these previous days since the others are gone and my family is far from here but that didn’t stop this one from being a truly amazing birthday. 

I woke up and as usual went downstairs to find breakfast where I in fact found two cakes, and some gifts for me. Kathrin hugged me and wished me a happy birthday. We all ate together and then I went to school where my classmates tried to sing Happy Birthday to me in Spanish. 

Rebeca came to my house where we had cake, I opened her presents, and one my parents had sent from Spain. 

We spent the evening watching one of the spiderman movies and the had pizza for dinner before we drove Rebeca home.

First day of school .     The fi r st day of school after a short tour with some girls from year eleven, Rebeca and I were guided to our first class , wich was religion .     Not only did we not understand a word , wich we expected due to our low level of german , but we were also highly confused because of the topic that they were discussing , wich was none other than cryogenization in case you’re wondering .    Here in Germany after the first and second period and the third and fourth they have a break, wich we used to introduce ourselves to some of the girls in our class, who’re very nice :)    The rest of the day was mostly spent running around and trying to find our classrooms because it’s a very big highschool . The arrival at Gilching

  January seventeenth.  I woke up at the same time I do to go to school, to say goodbye to Emma, the student I'm doing the exchange with .    I went to the bus station , where I met with Rebeca, with my parents and my sister . I said goodbye to my father while my mother , my sister , Rebeca and I got on the bus. I had a nap on the way to Bilbao be c ause I w as v e ry t ired .   Switching buses didn’t take long, because we arrived just in time to hop on one of the buses that   was going to the airport. On the way there we had to be careful because the luggage wouldn’t stay in place.   We arrived at the airport, where the four of us had a sandwich. Not even half an hour had passed, when we checked in our suitcases so that we didn’t have to carry them around. My sister left a little over an hour later and my mother bought us coffee . Meeting people and animals

  Family meeting.     Last week they had arranged a family meeting , to which Rebeca joined .   Everyone was very kind and they all talked to us in English to make things easier for us , wich we really appreciated .   We both ordered a coke and a schnitzel which is a very delicious dish.   After a delightful lunch we had dessert, for which I ate a really good ice-cream .   We all took a walk around the town where the restaurant was located . Not very far wa s a really nice forest which of course we walked around and, where some nice people took a p icture of all of us.   Finally walking back to the car we were greeted by a very friendly cat💕
