The wall

Image
The Berlin wall .     We woke up and after some trams we arrived at a place where a piece of the Berlin wall still stands.     I’m not even sure how to explain how I felt. There was one kilometer worth of wall with a lot of different drawings on both sides of it.    The wall itself is rather small and thin compared to what I expected, but even so the feeling when yo are near it can be overwhelming. At least it was for me.     We walked beside it for a while just taking it in and of course admiring the art that has been made on it.     Being in Berlin with people who can tell you about their own experience is another level.

Berlin

T rip to Berlin .     We were given two weeks off school for Easter.      Emma’s sister, Martha, had left on a four-day trip because she had to play some handball matches and so Kathrin and Thomas decided to take me to Berlin.     We took a four hour-long high-speed train to get there. The view outside of the train was really great which really helped make the journey less boring.     The first day after we arrived and checked-in in the hotel where we were staying we took a really long walk around the city and had currywursts for lunch.     In case you don’t know what, these are, they’re simply sausages with very nice curry and are very well known in Berlin.     We went to the parliament and went all the way up to a terrace to enjoy the view. I love d it.

Regensburg

Visiting Regensburg .     Emma and Martha’s grandparents, Kathrin’s mom and dad live in a town named Regensburg and some days ago we went there to stay with them and enjoy a fest ival.     We drove to their house where we sat down for lunch, talked and just enjoyed a nice time until somewhere around five we went out to the town centre .     They were having a speciall light festival with projections and things like that so no matter where you were, there were lights and people gathered around them.     It was nice; however it was really cold there and we headed back home at eight, I think.     After dinner we went to bed, and we left right after luch time the next day.

Guilty?

The court house .     Our class had a trip planned to a courthouse for their politics and rights class, and Rebeca and I of course joined them.     We took a few trains to get there and after waiting in a que for a while, and trying to ger the security guards too understand that we had literally no idea what they were saying to us, and that we weren’t trying to not cooperate, we had to rush up three flights of stairs to arrive at the ro om we were going to visit.   The trial was to decide if a man was guilty or not for having drugs in his car, and after forty minutes of so it was decided we has, but that instead of going to jail he’d be in parole.   After the trial we were free to do whatever we wanted so Rebeca, some girls and I all went back to Munich, and walked around the city.
