Alba's corner

  Ice skating with Rebeca .     Rebeca, who was staying at my place, and I were bored from sitting at home all day doing nothing but talking to some of our friends. Kathrin, my host mother noticed this, and asked us if we would like to go somewhere. We both quickly agreed to this proposition because it was the perfect opportunity to clear our heads.   After a not so long drive, we arrived at an ice staking rink . We got our tickets to enter and after putting on our skates we got on the rink and started going and circles around the place trying not to fall . I can say I was sucsesfull .   After a few hours we got out put ourn normal shoes back on and waited for Thomas, my host father to pick us back up and drive us home.  

Trip to a lake .     The first weekend the family I’m with took me to visit one of the five lakes that are near us .     I have to say , the lake was huge , truly huge . It had snowed the day before so it was hard to walk , however that didn’t stop us from taking a walk by it . We weould have liked to go around it , but it was practicaly imposible because of how big it is .   After we returned to one of the closest spots to the parking lot , we went to a small café in front of it , where I ate some mozzarella sticks with some awsome chips.   It was really an amazing place with an even better view .
